2012 Graduation in the Dominican Republic: La Academia Ministerial de la Gracia and Reformed Baptist Seminary

On June 3rd, I had the privilege of participating in the graduation of and giving a charge to sixteen students from various parts of Latin America who completed a nine-month intensive theological training program offered by La Academia Ministerial de la Gracia (Grace Ministerial Academy) in partnership with Reformed Baptist Seminary. Fifteen of the sixteen students completed 35 credits of academic study, including an Introduction to NT Greek, Sermon Preparation, Pastoral Counseling, and the major topics of exegetical and systematic theology. These students graduated with a Diploma of Theological Studies (D.T.S.) while the student who was not able to complete the 35 credits graduated with the Certificate of Theological Studies (C.T.S.).

Eight of the students reside in the Dominican Republic. The other eight students represents the following countries: España, Bolivia, Argentina, Perú, Colombia, and Haiti. Please pray for these students as they return to their countries to serve their local church and to spread the gospel of God's sovereign grace throughout Latin America. Pray also for the teachers of AMG -- Juan José Pérez, Luis Arocha, Oscar Arocha, and Oskar Arocha Jr (all RBS graduates) -- who are now interviewing applicants and preparing for their fourth year of training (Sept 2012-June 2013).
