RBS Graduate Serving as Pastor, Author, and Editor

Reformed Baptist Seminary exists to prepare laborers for the gospel harvest. In light of our vision, I'm always thrilled to learn what our graduates are doing to advance Christ's kingdom. Rob Ventura graduated from Reformed Baptist Seminary in 2006 with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.Div.) degree. Shortly after, Rob was ordained as a elder at Engelwood Baptsit Church, New Jersey, and later called to serve as a pastor of Grace Community Baptist Church, Rhode Island.

Since that time, Rob has not only been using his training to preach and pastor Christ's sheep, but he's also co-authored a excellent book entitled A Portrait of Paul: Identifying a True Ministry of Christ. The book provides an analysis of Paul's ministry and uses it as a paradigm for pastoral ministry today. For those who'd like a fuller description, see my review here.
Rob has also contributed the following articles to Reformation 21, the online magazine of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals:

In addition to authoring, Rob is the editor of the Scriptural and Systematic Studies Series by Gregory Nichols (published by Solid Ground Books), and he created a new blog "books2look4" to promote publications from Reformation Heritage Books

Rob would be the first to give all glory to God for any good that's come from his labors. Even so, I thought it would encourage our current students and supporting churches to see some of the fruit of God's grace in Rob's life and ministry. If you've got a few minutes, check out some of Rob's publications and his new website.
