Degrees, Diploma & Certificate

RBS currently offers the Bachelor of Divinity (B.Div.) and Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degrees. As part of our "Marrow of Theology" program, we also offer the 32-credit Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) degree or Diploma of Theological Studies (D.T.S.), as well as the 24-credit Certificate of Theological Studies (C.T.S.) for foreign pastors and students for whom an extended theological education is not presently feasible.

Credit transfer

Credits may be granted for work done at other institutions after evaluation by the seminary. The applicant must provide the seminary with an official transcript from the former institution. He may also need to provide the seminary with the academic catalog, course descriptions, and class syllabi for those courses which he wishes to transfer. Ordinarily, students may transfer all but the last 24 credit hours into their degree program; they must take at least 24 credit hours with RBS. Students wishing to transfer credits from RBS to other schools are responsible to ascertain the acceptance of credit by the receiving institution.

Yearly Course Requirements

Students must complete a minimum of two courses (4 to 6 credit-hours) per year in order to remain enrolled in the seminary. A three-month extension may be granted at the discretion of the seminary overseers.
